This is one of my favorite smoothies to make if I run out of my plant-based protein powder. It’s kind of like a grown up’s version of a PB and J breakfast smoothie.
I just love the earthy taste of acai. It taste like tart blackberries and dark chocolate all in one. Be sure to add something sweet like bananas or strawberries. Better yet, a little drizzle of maple syrup!

ACAI and PB Smoothie
Yield: 1 Smoothie Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:

1 3.5-ounce packet frozen unsweetened açaí purée *

1 cup unsweetened soy milk or plant milk of choice

1 cup frozen strawberries

1/4 cup of frozen banana slices
- A little drizzle of maple syrup if you crave something sweet

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
Directions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth and drink immediately. Enjoy!
Tips:
* Let the acai packet defrost a little before adding it to the blender.
