Pizza and a Movie by the Sea
Dear blogging family,
It’s been a long journey these past months away from posting. After a very serious surgery and a long road to recovery, I feel so grateful to be cooking and blogging again- just in time to celebrate my favorite holiday at the beach with my family and on zoom with friends.
In my house, pizza is a must for Halloween. I have a simple yet tastey recipe for a caprese pizza that I love to make. The real question is what to watch tonight. We have our childhood favorites – ET, Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, the Burbs, and Arachnophobia. As the night darkens and the tide roles in, by unanimous decision, The Fog wins. If you love pizza, you have to give this one a try. The recipe takes some planning, but when it all comes together, it’s worth every second. I tested a lot of pizza dough recipes, and the Double-O Pizza Dough turns out every time. Top it with a Traditional Marinara and your choice of cheese.
