Over the years I’ve flirted with plant-based nutrition. To be honest, I found it hard to fully commit. There’s a lot of prep-work involved if you want to stay clear from processed foods. Then I watched The Game Changers and saw how a plant-based diet helps elite athletes, veterans, and first responders. I started wondering if it would also aid those dealing with anxiety and PTSD. It was then when I decided to blog about my journey.
With my doctor’s thumbs-up, a few supplements, and extensive research, I’m ready to commit to my 365-day challenge. Yep. One year without dairy, meat, fish…turkey…sausage stuffing…Okay, I know its a little crazy to start this during the holiday season. I’ll need some suggestions on what to serve for family gatherings.
I got out my juicer and blender today and made a Strawberry Apple Beet Smoothie. This would be a fun one to make with little ones. Continue reading
